CHALLENGE (for rising 11u, 12u, and 13u players – 2014, 2013, 2012, 2011, and 2010 birth years)
The Challenge League is for our recreation-level players who love the game of soccer but also hope to play more often than the recreation program provides. In addition to the practices and games offered in your recreation program, Challenge players will participate in additional games within the Greensboro/Winston-Salem area of NC and an end-of-season tournament.

CLASSIC TEAM (for rising 14u players – 2009, 2008)
The Classic Team opportunity is for players who want to participate in additional training and games outside of the recreation program. These teams will play in 4-6 friendlies with NC Fusion teams in North Carolina and attend 3 tournaments/events through the course of the season.

PROGRAM FEES = $400/season (includes the Southside Recreation Fee)

HOW DO I TRY OUT?

To participate in these additional programs, you need to register for our Evaluations via PlayMetrics.

Here are the directions for players interested in the Challenge program: (for rising 11u, 12u, and 13u players – 2014, 2013, 2012, 2011, and 2010 birth years)

For families new to NC Fusion:

1. Click HERE to create an NC Fusion account in our PlayMetrics operating system
2. Enter the email address and password you would like to use for your account.  Once you have done this, click on the “Create Account” button.
3. The system will send a verification email to you to confirm your email address.  Check the email inbox that you used to create your PlayMetrics account and verify your email address.  You will then be prompted to enter your contact information to complete your Parent or Guardian account.
4. Add your player information for each child you plan to register.
5. Based on the player information provided, you will be shown a list of programs available to each player.
6. Select and complete the 2022/23 Challenge Soccer Program.  You will be able to choose to participate in the fall only or you can choose to participate in both the fall AND spring seasons, which is a discounted fee. 
7. You will receive a confirmation email when the registration process has been completed.

For families with an existing NC Fusion PlayMetrics account:

1. Log in to your existing PlayMetrics account HERE

2. Go to the Club Programs section

3. Select and complete the 2022/23 Challenge Soccer Program.  You will be able to choose to participate in the fall only or you can choose to participate in both the fall AND spring seasons and receive a $150 discount..

4. You will receive a confirmation email when the registration process has been completed.

5. You will receive a confirmation email when the registration process has been completed.
