Southside Soccer Club began operations in 2003. Since that time, the Club has provided Danville and Pittsylvania County children the opportunity to experience the thrill of a fast moving game like soccer. A very long list of players, parents, volunteers, and sponsors have made Southside Soccer Club a tremendous success.

Mission Statement

Southside Soccer Club is dedicated to fostering an inclusive environment where players of all ages and skill levels can learn, grow, and develop a passion for the game of soccer. We strive to build a culture that emphasizes character, teamwork, and community through the sport we love.

Vision Statement

Southside Soccer Club will set the standard by fostering a culture that unites our community, promotes a positive atmosphere, and delivers a meaningful soccer experience for all.

Affiliations

Southside Soccer Club is sanctioned by the Virginia Youth Soccer Association (VYSA) which provides supplementary medical and liability insurance for all players, coaches, and referees in our league.

Southside Soccer Club is a member of the Virginia Club Soccer League. VCSL travel soccer is sanctioned by the Virginia Youth Soccer Association. VCSL fields Premier and Classic Divisions for boys and girls teams U10-U19.

Organization

Managed by our dedicated board of directors, the club thrives on collective participation. Board members are elected annually in June. We welcome and appreciate all interested in contributing to our growth—whether on the board or on the field.
