Southside Soccer Club Joins the Virginia Club Soccer League

Blairs, VA – November 7, 2025 – Southside Soccer Club is proud to announce its acceptance as a 
new member of the Virginia Club Soccer League (VCSL).

The Virginia Club Soccer League features more than 20 member clubs across the state and offers 
competitive divisions for boys’ and girls’ teams from U11 through U14 in the spring and U11 through 
U19 in the fall. The league is sanctioned by the Virginia Youth Soccer Association (VYSA) and 
provides a professionally managed environment with multiple divisions at each age group. The 
VCSL also offers innovative initiatives including a Directors of Coaching Leadership Council, hybrid 
block scheduling, Club Champion awards, All-Star teams, and coach education opportunities.

Joining the VCSL marks an exciting new chapter for Southside Soccer Club, expanding its 
programming to include competitive travel soccer alongside its long-standing recreational 
offerings.

Founded in 2003, Southside Soccer Club serves the Danville–Pittsylvania County area and provides 
a fun, developmental soccer experience for more than 600 youth players each spring and fall 
season.

staying true to who we are. Our recreational program will always be at the heart of what we do, and 
this addition simply gives our players another pathway to chase their goals and represent Southside 
at a higher level.”
